Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your Quran Companion account and all associated data, you have two options:

Option 1: Delete From Within the App (Recommended)

Open the Quran Companion app on your device.
Navigate to the Profile tab.
Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
Tap "Delete Account".
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Email: qurancompanionsupport@gmail.com

Please include the email address associated with your account in your request. We will process your deletion within 7 business days and confirm via email once complete.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

Your authentication identity (Firebase Auth)
Your user profile and username
Reading progress, bookmarks, and checklists
Friend connections and friend requests
Classroom memberships and recitation uploads
Challenge participation data
Dhikr counts and prayer streaks
Any other data stored under your account

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your data. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming.
